  • Customer choice, provides an option for renters, landlords and other frequent movers
  • Minimal deposit for new service
  • Educates/promotes energy conservation
  • Alternative to standard service billing
  • Consumer controls when payment is made (paying for power in smaller increments)
  • No late fees
  • A solution for customers without bank accounts
  • Ability to monitor energy usage
  • Comparative usage (yesterday, last month, etc.)
  • An In-Home Display is connected via any electrical outlet inside the home.
  • The display unit acts as a gateway to the meter, allowing the transfer of credit and the retrieval of consumption information via the meter
  • Meter reading and credit balance updated daily at 6:00 a.m.
  • Alert indicators on IHD beep for low balance, messages
  • Disconnects service automatically at 10:00 a.m. when account credit balance goes negative
